Mawari is moving to a Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) because it’s the most efficient and scalable way to deliver immersive online content in real time at low costs. Today’s legacy solutions are limited in their ability to handle the growing global demand for high-fidelity spatial computing. DePIN architecture decentralizes the heavy lifting—like compute, rendering, and content delivery—by leveraging a global web of GPU nodes and network verifiers.

Phase 1 of Mawari’s Decentralized Infrastructure Offering will focus on Guardian Nodes. These nodes assess critical performance indicators like latency, bandwidth, and content quality to maintain the high standards necessary for immersive, real-time experiences. More details on additional Mawari nodes will be announced over time, and this is only the beginning.

The Mawari Network will be leveraging specialized GPUs around the world for advanced computation and streaming tasks, but a set of Guardian Nodes are needed to verify their work and the performance of the network overall as it serves multiple simultaneous immersive experiences. The DIO is for licenses to operate these critical Guardian Nodes.

Each type of node will offer eligible node operators unique benefits and rewards for helping render and stream content and ensuring the security and efficiency of the Mawari Network. Most likely, but participating in the upcoming DIO is the best way to secure a spot in Mawari’s growing ecosystem. As the Network expands, additional node opportunities should become available, and in the meantime, you’ll also be able to engage through other Mawari platform features and community activations.
